Placement Manager (General Insurance)
Job Responsibilities :
present the risk to insurance companies (suggesting additional covers depending on the client profile).
- Working with client-facing colleagues to understand client's requirements and provide end-to-end solutions for placing the business with the insurers i.e. generating quotes, preparing a comparative statement, follow-up, and policy vetting.
- Identifying risk exposures of the client, understanding the insurance requirements, and providing them with insurance solutions.
- Business awareness and industry knowledge
- Ability to drive cross-functional teams for common objectives.
- Interact with key clients of group business from time to time to understand their concerns and identify improvement areas.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, risk management, or any related field
- Strong understanding of insurance products, policies, and industry practices is essential
- Have a thorough understanding of insurance industry government regulations (OJK and other government institutions)
- Have excellent negotiation skills and the ability to effectively place insurance policies with appropriate carriers
- Maintaining strong relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, and clients is a key aspect of the role.
- Have ability to manage multiple tasks and give attention to detail
